The product I referred to is indeed a dairy yoghurt -Yoplait non fat strawberry, purchased in Australia.

The ingredient list names skim milk, milk solids non fat,water, strawberries [min 6.5%],fructose,halal gelatine, vegetable gums[440,406,410], flavours, natural colour[120], sweeteners[950,951], preservative[200], live yoghurt cultures[S. thermophilus, L. Acidophilus, Bifidobacterium. Low GI. Less than .15% fat. 60% less sugar than an average Yoplait lite yoghurt.

Per 100g: energy 46 cals, protein 4.9g, fat total .1g, saturated .1g, carb. total 6.3g, sugars 6.0g, fibre less than 1g, sodium 77mg, riboflavin .25mg, B12 .25

I work to maintain a healthy weight so was influenced by the low fat content and the low calorie content. I have included the dairy yoghurt as an afternoon snack as I have ostoporosis. [69 y.o.] Could you explain why you advise against dairy and perhaps suggest a better alternative for that afternoon snack, please?

I follow a low fat vegetarian diet based on Pritikin/Ornish principles.
