Hi Jessica >>In your opinion, does the fructose make this yoghurt an unwise choice and, if so, why? In my opinion, if this is dairy yogurt, then the yogurt makes it an unwise choice, especially for a women, and not just the fructose. I would be more concerned about avoiding the dairy than the fructose. If I could eliminate one food from the food supply, it would be all dairy products, cultured or not. However, in regard to sweeteners, refined concentrated fructose (as a sweetener and not what occurs naturally in fruit) has been shown to raise triglycerides and increase risk for heart disease. Therefore, I would avoid products made with it. In addition, if you were to use a yogurt, many of them have lots of added sugars, so you would want to look for one that has none, or the least possible and also watch the fat and saturated fat content. If you could provide more info from the label or tell me the specific product, I can give you a better analysis. Hope that helps In Health Jeff
