I have been reading a lot lately about the wisdom of avoiding foods sweetened with fructose in the interests of good health. The yoghurt that I purchase is non fat, contains three cultures, has no artificial colourings or preservatives and is low in calories. However, I notice that it is sweetened with fructose, even though the label says that it contains 60% less sweetening than the regular form of the same brand. In your opinion, does the fructose make this yoghurt an unwise choice and, if so, why?
