No. Based on some standard definitions... Texturized Vegetable Protein (TVP) or Texturized Soy Protein (TSP) is made from soy flour that contains around 50% soy protein. It is usually used as (or in) a "meat" substitute. Isolated Soy Protein is derived from defatted soy flour and is a highly refined or purified form of soy protein with a minimum protein content of 90% It is often used as a protein supplement or to increase protein content of foods.
