Sometimes when I tell people I am a vegan they feel sorry for me because of all of the pleasure I will miss.

Putting aside the fact that healthy vegan cuisine is also pleasurable, I would rather eat to live a *life* doing pleasurable activities than live to get the majority of my pleasure from eating.

The later seems no better than being a domesticated animal, having not much more to look forward to than your next meal.
