I should be aiming for the 18.5 - 22? This is insane. I am 5'11" and currently weigh 176 (BMI: 24.5) My "ideal" weight according to various healthy weight calculators seems to be 172lbs. This would bring my BMI down to 24.0. For my BMI to be 22.0 I would have to lower my weight to 158lbs. At this point I would be expecting a visit from the local coroner or the Grim Reaper. Aiming for such low numbers is simply not attainable nor desirable for most people. Case in point, my example above.
