Thanks for the comments. I'm afraid that my cooking skills still need work. Just borrowed "The Pritikin Principle" from the library. Most soups & stews meet your guidlelines or come close. "Black Bean and Vegetable Stew" looks very tasty, nutritious, and makes enough for the freezer. Much healtheir than Muir Glenn.

Will pursue. Have enjoyed Health Valley products. (I hope their chili is OK -- have to check the label.)
