Hi Jeff! I am getting so frustrated. It feels like my body is attacking me one step at a time. I just found out I am hypoglycemic, but I've only been noticing the symptoms since I cut soy products out of my diet 9 months ago. (My protein intake is 55-60 grams a day, but I would guess it used to be at least 80-90.) If I have more than two servings of beans per day the gas is unbearable. I am able to reverse hypoglycemic symptoms by eating half a serving of nuts (the results are almost immediate), but I can't be eating this much fat per day! I know that when I go back to my Dr. to discuss my lab results she will tell me to eat "lean proteins" such as low fat dairy or lean meat. I do not want to do this but my low fat protein choices are so limited. I already cut out caffeine and alcohol, and when I do eat rice or potatoes I only eat one serving at a time. I add protein to every meal but it is all from legumes and my GI system is not happy. What can I do? Thanks ~Kelsey
