I've been a vegetarian for 13 years, and last year I developed ulcerative colitis. A few weeks ago I decided to try a vegan diet, since I don't want to support cruelty in the diary/egg industries. However, since eliminating milk and eggs from my diet, I've been getting a lot of stomach aches and cramping. Is it possible to be a healthy vegan if you have ulcerative colitis?
