The best way to know for sure is to have an allergy
test. Ask your physician to recommend where to get to
get tested.
Yours could be an allergy sensation. If it is you will
have a reaction with each exposure to figs. Fresh figs
can illicit a reaction, more so than cooked figs.

Again the best way to know is to have an allergy test.
This is a controlled test, done by an expert, and will
show if an allergy exists.
