Greetings There is no known population on earth to consume more than about 1-2 oz of nuts and right now the highest nut consumption on earth is in Lebanon where they consume just over an ounce a day. The national recommendations are that including up to 1.5 oz per day of nuts can be healthy as part of a healthy lifestyle and diet. In all the large epidemiological studies that showed consuming nuts beneficial, the highest consumption was 1 oz, 2-5x a week. I recommend limiting nuts/seeds to no more than 1-2 oz per day at most for those would want to include them. You can scroll down and find other discussions on nuts in this forum, or long detailed discussions in my forum on the McDougall website. In Health Jeff
