Hi Diane I am not able to respond to specific personal health issues and make specific personal recommendations on an anonymous public message board. However, in general, those following a healthy diet and lifestyle do not need to consume probiotics as the body makes all the healthy bacteria it needs. There are some situations (medications, illness, etc) where a probiotic may have useful role and these situations should only be determined in a personal consultation with a health care professional.
