I am not looking at only the ration but am pointing out the ratio as it is one important aspect. In addition, the calorie density of the nuts, the amount of saturated fat and the level of nutrients are also important. My recommendations are always to look at a food as a total package and not one isolated aspect, and as part of the total diet. In looking at nuts/seeds as a total package and as part of the total diet, my recommendations are to limit the consumption to no more than 1-2 oz/day. In Health Jeff
