Does anyone have a list of food additives that are or may be bad for you? I know there is so much controversy over many of them. I was always worried about TBHQ and BHT but when I realized there is sodium benzoate in so many of my foods and looked it up, I was shocked to see it is a proven carcinogen. I use bottled lemon and lime juice and soy sauce all the time and they all have sodium benzoate. Now I am wondering what other additives I could be overlooking. Also what is this about free glutamates being bad for you? Do you agree with the below excerpt?

My husband just flipped when I told him I don't want to use the $10 worth of bottled lime juice I just bought. I asked if he would rather me give myself cancer? ah...

Dr. Novick, is edamame the only soy you eat? What about whole soy milk (the kind that is made from the bean with fiber in it). When you say to use it in it's least processed form, this means tofu, TVP, soy sauce, and miso are all out?
