Our nation has become a divided nation with everyone drawing sides on every issue and becoming highly combative. I do not remember this degree of divisiveness ever before.

I understand there are those who may disagree with my view and my interpretation of the studies and data. I respect their right to do so.

So, while I appreciate your concerns, I am not an advocate of debating these issues with others (family, friends or otherwise), nor do I know why they have to be "defended". I am only in helping people realize their individual health goals. The data supporting the principles and guidelines I recommend are overwhelming and my website, this website, my forum on the McDougall website, the NHA website, contains enormous amounts of this data.
