When I became vegan I thought I did pretty thorough research on the health benefits vs. risks, but today is the first time I came across any articles about soy potentially increasing the risk of Alzheimer's. I'm really worried about this because the disease runs in my family. I did come across a few articles that said soy may DECREASE the risk of Alzheimer's, but most said that because of the high aluminum content, it is more likely to increase the risk. What does everyone think? Shouldn't the FDA be doing more research on this? So many American's eat soy on a daily basis, it seems very important to me!
