Greetings, Carrageenan is an additive to some processed foods that comes from seaweed and is often used as a thickener. To me, I don't think it is a big issue for the following reason. While there are some health concerns about its use and consumption, if you are following my recommendations and guidelines, then you are eliminating most all processed and refined foods, which in and of itself, would eliminate any exposure to carrageenan. If someone wanted to avoid it 100%, then they could just avoid any foods that contain it. In Health Jeff
