No. :) While quinoa is often promoted as a super food and the ulimate grain and the only grain that is a complete protein, these are all myths. There is no one "super" food that people must eat. Instead, there are basic food groups that people should get their food and nutrients from. These include fresh fruits, veggies, starchy veggies, intact whole grains, legumes, and nuts/seeds. A whole foods, unrefined, unprocessed plant based diet supplies all the protein and all the amino acids we need in the right amounts. There is no one "super" food that people must eat. The one food that is common amongst the long lived healthiest people of the world, as documented in peer-reviewed published research, is legumes, and not any legume in particular, but legumes.
