Pretty much! Even my girlfriend eats over 3K and is about 100 lbs.
She eats a ton of fruit, bananas, as they are quickly digested.
I eat 6+ times a day. It's not hard. I know a guy thats orthorexic,
raw foodist. He is 26, has the bones of a 90 year old, is losing
heart muscle and has already been hospitalized while eating "the
healthiest foods." Most diet recommendations are geared towards sedentary overweight individuals. There is no one ideal diet for
everyone.
Here are my staples.
Water- A lot of it, Most important nutrient.
Potatoes
Quinoa
Barley/Vegetable soup
Barley
Brown Rice
Oatmeal
Broccoli
Spinach- I consider this and broccoli extremely important.
Carrots
Beets
Almonds/Walnuts/Pumpkin Seeds
Some Tofu
Some Tempeh
Garbanzo Beans
Green Split Peas
Lentils
Bananas and Berries in smoothies
Tahini
Flax Seed
Dried Fruit
If you are having problems, try juicing fruits to decrease fiber. Its
easy to down large volumes of liquid calories.
