Hi Nick
My main concern is that they have done as much as they can to help foster (and continue) the fact that most people walk into the store under the delusion that they are doing something better for themselves, when in reality, they are about to expose themselves to as many myths, lies, misleading advertising, misinformation and unhealthy food as in the regular food stores, but just pay more money for it.
They have very hypocritical "standards" like not allowing some products, (trans fats, sucralose, HFCS, etc) under the myth of "unnatural" and "harmful" but allow others that are as unhealthy or worse (tropical oils, agave syrup, products with high levels of salt, products with high levels of concentrated caloric sweeteners, saturated fats, etc etc) just because they may be "natural", whatever that means. Natural does not determine healthy. They have not allowed some products for being tested on animals, but allow animals to be sold for consumption.
Most of these companies whose products they sell are now owned by the big name food companies and many are no different (and some worse) than their counterparts in the regular grocery store. These companies also do not inform consumers of who really owns them on their products.

I can't think of anything I need to purchase that I have to go to WF for and therefore don't and do not support their efforts to maintain the above illusions and deceptions.
In Health
