Hi Nick Dried fruit is an excellent food, especially if you are healthy, fit, active and at a healthy weight. The only problem with it is that it is fairly high in calorie density. So, if someone was trying to lose weight, I would recommend the limit or avoid dried fruits. In addition, if someone was very sensitive and having trouble with their blood sugars and/or triglycerides, I would also recommend they limit or avoid dried fruits till they return to health.
