Thank you for the tidbit about washing - my eyes bugged on that one. :) Due to busy schedules, I tend to grab the prewashed spinach and lettuces and blend them raw into a blended salad or steam them right out of the package. I will make sure to wash them from now own. One question about washing - how is the best way to wash vegetables (like lettuces, kale,...)? My mom likes to soak them in cold water and salt for about thirty minutes. I am concerned about the salt thinking it might absorb into my leafy vegetables. She says it washes right off. Is that okay or should I use baking soda or vegetable washes like Fit? Thank you, Bethany
