i read this article http://www.naturalnews.com/024407.html is this valid? it says soy prevents assimilation of minerals. if so does this mean you need just a bit more or is this only true if in large doses? please let me know how true this is and to what extent. would 1-2 servings a day be harmful? i was told that after surgery i will need 3 times more protein. i am not sure if this is 100% true. i know post surgery, lying in bed, i wont be eating 3 times more food. whats the healthiest way to do this if i dont have a huge appetite and what can i ask for while in the hospital? i've already figured out its almost impossible with beans and lentils as the main protein source. so far my best answer is protein shakes.
