>>I've always heard how healthy Pomegranates were, but I was wondering about the juice. I like to focus on "foods" and not "specific" foods. Consume a variety of fruits, including berries, sweet fruits, citrus fruits, etc. Dont get to caught up in the "superfood" concept. >>How much do you lose in the processing and pasteurization? It also seems to be very high in calories. I use it very sparingly and usually as part of my smoothie. Sounds to me like you have it figured out. I recommend limiting juice intake regardless of whether it is fresh pressed or pastuerized. All juices are processed and refined foods. Fresh fruit is the best form. For the most part, Eat your fruit, dont drink it. but I have no problems with someone having a glass a day. However, as you said, a small serving as part of an otherwise healthy diet is harmless and may add some flavor and possible some benefit. In Health Jeff
