man, I have to admit that is a slightly scary thought, because it means I can never say, well, I'm within my calorie limit so I'm okay. It also means some things I really have relied on a lot, like beans, brown rice, oatmeal, more beans, some nuts, sweet potatoes, whole grain pasta - very dense foods like that - I better leave alone and limit myself to piles and piles of leafy greens. I'm a tiny person with fine bones. My mom was always slim despite having 7 kids, but she believed she'd "never tend to fat." well, she failed to take into account the midlife slowdown and menopause, and now she closely resembles a toad and has no energy. I'd like to stay in my size 2's and able to hike till I cash in! So I know I have to change my eating patterns radically now that I'm over 45.
