Hi Tim I do not have any resource for rare and exotic plants. You can check www.pubmed.com as to see if there is any recent research that might have what you are looking for. Sometimes there are studies that look at nutrient content of newer foods. However, in regard to general food recommendations, I am not sure it is necessary as there is most likely little difference between the many varieties of a food. So, my recommendation would not be to focus on a rare variety of a food, but to focus your overall diet on a variety of healthy foods. Sweet potatoes are excellent regardless of which specific variety you happen to choose. In Health Jeff
