Hi Jeff,

I consumed 20-24 ounces of fresh raw figs today, and shortly thereafter, I experienced a burning sensation on my tongue and inner lips. 6 hours later, I still feel the burning sensation, but not as strong. could this mean I have an allergy to something in the figs? If not an allergy, then what else could it be? the figs were soft and ripe with very mild to pretty sweet taste to 'em.

I hope that I didn't do any unintentional harm to my body.

thanks for any help
