How do you feel about dietary supplements, such as chromium, to increase increase insulin sensitivity in type 2 diabetics? I have used it before and am wondering if I should again. I am a type 2 diabetic who is, once again, on the path to wellness. Hopefully there will be no detours this time. Anyway, in the past three weeks I have brought my fasting glucose down from 210 to 120 by adopting a low fat, vegan diet. I have taken myself off Glipizide, but I'd like to get back to double digits and am wondering if I should just be patient, or start taking chromium again. I'm not asking for medical advice, just an opinion. Thanks!
