i had a severe fracture/surgery with a good inch of bone to build between my bones to rebuild. i am trying to eat a lot of dark leafy greens but find them bitter/strong if i want to eat them raw, low salt/fat. i am very underweight fyi but trying to limit fats, salt, suger, caffeine etc. i have read beans, lentils and soy are good and apples, leafy greens, potato skin, some nuts and seeds esp. sesame seeds are good. what foods should i eat, limit. i do enjoy 2 cups of coffee a day. im adhd and that helps me limit the ritalin i must take to function well for work too. i was told this is ok. my right arm is in a cast up to my shoulder so making food is difficult. i eat a lot of raw foods and find cooked foods need salt to be palatable but eating cooked too. i have no idea how much salt i use and how much is a problem. i am now getting tired of kale salad but unsure of recipies to make it taste better so ive been drinking CA fortified oj. any advice is appreciated. dr, said i should get in more protein now to preserve my muscle but read that is not good for bones yet there isnt much to me. i need to try to eat optimally to avoid a double surgery, thanks.
