First, I would be curious as to how you know you are meeting and/or surpassing all your nutrient needs?

Second, If you are truly meeting all your nutrient needs, and you need to increase your caloric intake, then I recommend you consume more of the foods that you enjoy and work for you, regardless if that is more fruits, veggies, starchy veggies, intact whole grains, legumes or some nuts/seeds.

Also, for the record, it is interesting to note that while obtaining enough exercise to maintain fitness, balance, flexibility, strength, etc for the normal daily activities of life is important, to much is not "healthier." The benefits of calorie restriction by itself surpasses the benefits of calorie restriction and exercise in regard to longevity. I would rather see someone maintain a healthy BMI (18.5-22) from calorie restriction and moderate exercise, then from a higher calorie level and a higher exercise level.
