FYI In the bakery section of A&P grocery stores they sell a NEW YORK STYLE CRUMB CAKE that is egg and nut free. My almost three year old LOVES it and I'm going to ask the woman in the A&P bakery to give me a giant piece to serve as his BIRTHDAY CAKE in February! I try not to buy it for him too often so that it can remain a special treat (with his allergies there aren't too many choices). The added bonus is that everyone else loves it too! Oh, and it freezes well...
