Subject:         What Happened to Mocha Mix Ice Cream....

I live in CA, and Mocha Mix dissapeared from our shelves several months ago. After hoping that it was some sort of production problem, I discovered what happened to our beloved Mocha Mix Ice Cream. Apparently it was manufactured by Dreyers for a company called Dean Foods. According to Dreyers they are no longer producing it for Dean Foods, and the product has been discontinued as far as they know. The recipe for it however is held by Dean Foods, and they would be the ones who could tell us if it's being made by another company or if they discontinued it altogether. I couldn't find a phone number, but here's the link for the Dean Foods webpage which has the company mailing address listed under "Contact us":

I've written a letter to them asking about Mocha Mix, and suggest that everyone else do the same...maybe with enough letters, they'll start producing it again!
