My husband and son have both have had a relapse and have been experiencing dairy allergies. My son was just getting better but his casien allergy has become worse... my husand was lactose intolerant as a child and now 30 years later it's making him ill again.... Problem is that both of them have become accustomed to dairy again and like the taste.... I've having difficulty finding taste good substitues. I like Better than Milk Soymilk and have a soymilk machine as well from when my son was little and his allergy first surfaced. I use tofutti cheese slices but haven't found good substitues for mozzerella or cheddar. I also need a good heavy cream substitue... I have a wonderful one from Germany made by alpro/provamel, but when it runs out I'm in trouble as they don't sell in America. Ideas? Thank you!
