You mentioned a dip for your veggies … Here’s a great recipe for a vegetable dip (no dairy, no soy)that I found in the cookbook IN GOOD HEALTH.
1 cup raw cashews
1 cup water(I use less water and more lemon juice)
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 clove garlic (or 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder) 1/8 cup lemon juice
Place all ingredients in blender. Blend until very creamy. Chill.
Variation: Stir in 1 tablespoon of dill or chives or dried onion pieces.
Keeps in frig for about 5 days.
DELICIOUS!!!
I use no dairy or eggs at all and go for months at a time without using any soy. Our family is healthier than we have ever been! You can do it!
It’s really not that hard once you get a few good recipes … they become your “staples” easily replacing the milk and soy that you used before.
Hope this helps! If you need any more recipes let me know. I'd be happy to post some more.
