Better than Sour Cream is a product that tastes exactly like dairy sour cream and works the same in cooking. Be sure you get the non-hydrogenated variety because I think they still make both, at least I have seen both in different supermarkets. Whipped cream is a different thing altogether, I have yet to find a sub that works really well, you can try some of the recipes from New Veggies, ask Bryanna, she has several different ways to make "whipped cream," what I do on desserts is make some homemade vanilla ice cream with soymilk or use softened Soy Dream or Soy Delicious ice cream, not exactly the same but it does the trick.
