Please see my post above, my son had chronic ear infections which led to hearing loss. I have read much about nutrition and understand that dairy can cause childhood ear infections, in fact in the book "nutritional Healing" by James & Phyliss Balch they state that 80% of childhood ear infections are due to dairy allergy. That is not the only place I have read it, unfortunately for me it was too late, my son is now 24 and I wish I had taken him off dairy when he was small.
