A couple of years ago I started this web site to help individuals with food allergies. My goal is to make it possible for those of us with food allergies to walk into a restaurant and with only a cell web connection and find a list of food from the menu that are likely safe to eat. I know we still will have to make sure cooks have not changed how they prepare the foods. But still -- this would be better than how inconvenient it is now, especially if I have not been to the restaurant before. So I created a site called foodb.com at www.foodb.com which connects to a database that can be immediately chnaged by members when they find out about a change in food ingredients. The site lists some of the most common foods and additives people are allergic to.
I was wondering if you could help improve the dairy entries in the site, either by entering info you have or emailing a list to foodb@hotmail.com. There are a lot of gluten free entries, but not as many foods identified as milk free or egg free. The site is really easy to work with. You can enter foods at foodb.com/productinput1.cfm. If the food item is already in the database, just make sure it is identified as milk and egg free.
