The biggest difference between rice and soy milk is that rice milk is very, very low in protein, whereas soy milk is high in protein. For an adult w/ a healthy diet, eating enough food to maintain a healthy weight, this is no problem at all. What you would not want to do is use rice milk as the main milk source for a growing child. Soy would be much more appropriate in that case because of the protein difference.
