Thanks for those websites ... the recipes look FABULOUS!! Re: your question of making vegan butter from vegan milk, I think there is something about the agitation of cow's milk cream (the part of the raw, unhomogenized milk that floats to the top) that makes butter. Non dairy milks (soy, rice) don't have a cream portion that floats to the top. I see from the one recipe you posted that coconut milk DOES have a cream which separates out. Maybe that would work!! (although I don't know about a coconut flavored butter!!)
