I am and have been allergic to dairy ever since I can remember. I am allergic to the milk protein, casien. Be sure to check products that say they are milk free. I don't really have a full answer, but maybe try making a cheese sause with Tofutti cream cheese as your base....and maybe you can find a sort of substitute cheese flavor. melt that down a bit and create a sauce. ?? hope this helps some
