Just thought I would mention that my mom made a dairy free cake for my son for Christmas (I was SO impressed with her initiative). I was chocolate and tasted great. When I complimented her she said she just bought a mix off the shelf at the grocery store that did not list milk in its allergy line. Then she just made it as usual. It didn't call for milk and she used 100% vegetable oil margarine for the pan. It was easy and W loved it...with no reaction. Christina
