Being vegan does not mean you still can't obtain great lean muscle. While soy is an excellent source of protein, it is not the only source. Different foods you eat contain protein. What you would need to do is figure out a diet plan in which you eat a certain amount of protein a day. Where you get it from makes no difference, it's just how much of it you consume.
