Below is a link to one of the articles covering a study that appeared in last week's New England Journal of Medicine. It incriminates the consumption of cow's milk by young girls, which leads to an unusually large growth spurt. This, along with carcinogens, some of which may be in the milk itself, can lead to eventual breast cancer. So they suspect. I'd guess the same process occurs in boys, leading eventually to a higher prostate cancer rate.
