I'm sure you've probably had your question
answered several times over by now, but just
in case you haven't, yes it can. Many people,
however, automatically jump to the
conclusion that it is lactose intolerance, which
in some cases may be true but not always. It
may be due to a milk allergy. Although very
similar in nature, they are different. You may
just be lactose intolerant or it can actually be a
side effect of having a milk allergy. A great and
extremely helpful website I ran across while
doing research for my wife, who had your
same exact question is The topic was,
I believe, milk allergy and lactose intolerance.
I hope your problem is already is already
resolved and a thing of the past, but if not I
hope this has helped tremendously
