| | Subject: | Going dairy-free in Uni | |

This is my first semester in Uni, and the environment is horroble-my "air-borne" allergies have been acting up, which triggers my asthma. I've always been "lactose-intolerant" to a point where it makes my sickness worse. I have a cold right now, and I'm off dairy at least until I'm better, but I'm sick of dairy prolonging my sicknesses. I'm looking into going dairy-free permanently. The only problem is, my school only offers one vegan option per-day, beside salad, fruit, and hummus...would I even be getting enough vitamins, etc, to have a balanced diet? Also, suggestions on cheaper foods? i've been a Veg for over 3yrs now, and everytime I've looked at a health-food store...my wallet cries. Thanks for your help!
