Dear Steenkamp There is evidence linking lactose intolerance with oesophageal reflux and depression. I have all 3. Citalopram has helped, but I have felt even better since cutting out dairy products. I now eat lots of bananas for energy - which also boost serotonin levels. Read "Serotonin: How to naturally harness the power behind Prozac...." by Sid Baumel for some diet advice.
