I'm ready to take my son off dairy. He is highly allergic to it and I need to start a dairy-free life for him. He is 9 years old and has many symptoms of being on dairy. My question is...how do I start? Do I take him off milk, ice cream, cream cheese, and butter all at once? Then do I gradually add more items to the list of taking dairy away? Diane Craft is a nutritionist and talks about all the ailments that dairy causes in children, like adhd (which my son has), skin rash, non-focused, ear infections, hyper, loud, etc. My son was tested a year ago and I knew then he was allergic to dairy, but was afraid to take it all away from him. I will definately use some of the options at the grocery store to substitute our milk and ice cream. There were great suggestions on the previous posts here! When I find Diane Craft's website I will post it here. I've been listening to her CD from a talk she gave at a convention. She sure knows her biology and has some solutions to healing a "leaky gut" as she calls it.
