My 12 months old son is having diarrhea for few weeks already, he has similar symptoms to your daughter. I went to my pediatrician and she told me to cut any dairy from his diet. We checked his stool and he has blood in it. She said that with food allergies kids sometimes have internal micro-bleeding. That's why his hemoglobin is lower. I know it will be very hard to do this diet because he loves dairy, but I will try my best. Normally he gets milk before his bed time, now I'm not giving it to him and he seams to sleep better at night (before he was crying and having tommy ache) Tomorrow we will see gastroenterologist too. My friend told me that sometimes wrong diet may cause diarrhea. Is your daughter eating a lot of fruits and veggies? My friend told me that too many fruit and veggies may increase acids and cause problem to intestences (spelling?). I don't know if it's true or not. I'll ask my doctor?Could we keep in touch, I would like to exchange info with someone who has the same problem. You can write me anytime with update. Let me know if your daughter gets better after dairy free diet.
