In a Gurdwara, you cannot enter without covering your hair and removing your shoes. The clothing was at the request of the groom, but if you notice, I was wearing similar garb in another picture. I noticed that my Indian friends would wear western clothes on some days and Indian clothes on others, as they felt like dressing. The clothing is amazingly comfortable, especially in the hot Indian climate. It's like walking around in your pajamas. I brought it home with me, but I am not sure that it would fly if I wore it to work today. Jim
