I cooked these over night. I found the basic recipe at the PCRM recipe site. My kitchen smells wonderful this morning. Wish I knew how to make Boston Brown Bread.

Baked Beans

1 lb. dried navy beans
1 onion
1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
1/2 cup molasses
2 tsp. prepared mustard (I used spicy brown mustard)
2 T. vinegar
1/2 tsp. garlic granules or powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Bakkon yeast (optional) I didn't use it.

I cooked the beans and chopped onion in plenty of water. I used my 4 qt. round crockpot. Cooked them for about 2 hours (the beans were not done). Then I added the remaining ingredients. Went to bed and 7 hours later I have some wonderful baked beans.

This is the first time I ever added tomato sauce to baked beans. :)
